Miso Fried Rice

Miso Fried Rice
(less than 10 minutes)

Ingredients

(serves 1)

  • 1 bowl of steamed rice
  • 1/4 stalk of green onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 strip of bacon
  • 1 tablespoon of Pala-Miso

Preparation

  1. Add oil to a skillet and fry diced green onion and bacon that has been cut into small strips.
  2. Add a beaten egg and steamed rice to the bacon and green onion mixture in the skillet and stir rice well to break up any rice clumps.
  3. When the rice is well mixed, add Pala-Miso and serve when dissolved.


Miso Stir-Fry

Miso Stir-Fry
(less than 30 minutes)

Ingredients

(serves 3)

  • 2 ounces of pork
  • 3 cabbage leaves
  • 1/2 carrot
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 Asian eggplant (or 1/3 of a regular eggplant)
  • 1/4 stalk of green onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of Pala-Miso
  • Pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Cut pork, cabbage, carrots, onion, eggplant, green onion, and green pepper into bite sized pieces.
  2. Oil a hot skillet and cook pork.
  3. Once the pork is thoroughly cooked, add vegetables and stir-fry.
  4. Once the vegetables become cooked and soft, add Pala-Miso and pepper, mixing well then serve.

    If any of the ingredients burn and stick to the skillet try adding a little water.


Miso Salmon Filet

Miso Salmon Filet
(less than 10 minutes)

Ingredients

(serves 1)

  • 1 salmon filet
  • mushrooms according to taste
  • 1/4 onion
  • 2 teaspoons of Pala-Miso
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of cooking wine

Preparation

  1. Use butter to grease a medium square sized piece of aluminum foil.
  2. Place onion slices on the aluminum foil and on top of this the salmon filet.
  3. Gently wrap the foil around the edges of the salmon, making a pocket into which add mushrooms, cooking wine, Pala-Miso, and any remaining butter, then seal the foil pocket.
  4. Place the foil pocket on a skillet or frying pan to steam cook the contents for approximately 15 minutes.


Easy Miso Pickles

Easy Miso Pickles
(less than 30 minutes)

Ingredients

(serves 2)

  • 2 cucumbers
  • 1 inch piece of ginger
  • 2 tablespoons of Pala-Miso

Preparation

    Instead of cucumbers,Try cabbage and eggplant
  1. Roughly cut cucumbers into large chunks.
  2. Cut ginger into long fine strips.
  3. In a sealable container add cucumber, ginger, and Pala-Miso and mix well.
  4. Store in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes for flavors to deepen.
